Parent Behaviour - Code of Conduct

11 May 2014 by john wills

I would like to take this opportunity to remind parents that they have signed, their partner has signed on their behalf or should have signed the Leagues Code of Conduct.

The Code spells out the behaviour we expect from Coaches, Players, Parents, Spectators etc. The Club will not tolerate poor behaviour as outlined in the Code of Conduct by anybody.

I would outline a couple of behaviour points from the Code.
Respect officials’ decisions and teach children to do likewise. If you disagree with an official, raise the
issue through the appropriate channels rather than question the officials’ judgement and honesty in public
.
Support all efforts to remove verbal and physical abuse from sporting activities.

Demonstrate appropriate social behaviour by not using foul language, harassing players, coaches or
officials.
