Old footy boots for charity

10 Feb 2015 by Wayne Rosenboom

Hi all,

One of our local police officer’s runs a charity where he collects football boots that are no longer required and takes them up to the Indigenous kids in the APY lands in far northern South Australia.

While we play in mud, these kids play on hard packed earth and rocks and a pair of second hand boots is a welcome change from running around in bare feet.

If you have any football boots that the kids have out grown and you have no one else to give them to, bring them to the club and I will organise for them to be passed on.

Cheers,
